Your story needs to be told beautifully. Get in touch: jennykwiik@gmail.com

I have been drawing, writing stories and curiously exploring the world since I was a child, and I started selling illustrations already in my teens. I am especially interested in how visual art and storytelling can enhance learning and understanding by being both clear and emotionally striking at the same time.

For any kind of product or message it is important to stand out from the crowd. Beautiful visuals and powerful storytelling is the key. If you want to know more about how I could contribute to your story, send me a message.

I’ve worked as an illustrator since 1997, and for a wide range of companies and organizations. I’ve done editorial illustration, technical illustrations for learning material, fashion and beauty, logos, cards, posters, portraits, illustrations for fantasy and science fiction stories and most recently game art.

My first novel, that I both wrote and illustrated, was published 2012 (Bildbindaren, Schildts & Söderströms).

Currently I am working with illustration for historical short films (medieval Ostrobothnia), game writing for narrative mobile games, graphic design and literary critique.

I’ve also worked as a researcher (writing a Doctoral thesis) and university teacher in Art history between 2004 and 2013, specializing in sociology and economy of arts, visual culture, gender studies and the modern period of art history.

I studied for a second Master’s degree in Leadership and Service Design at Novia and Turku University of Applied Sciences (2015-2018). My thesis has the working title “Invitation to play, feel and learn – Developing visual storytelling in a serious game project”.
